Case Study: Assessing a Valuation Firm’s Digital Property
The Client
Patchin Messner Dodd & Brumm is a property valuation and consulting firm. Though they’re based out of Burnsville, Minnesota, their team serves clients across the nation. Their counselors are best known for their appraisals, reviews, consultation and litigation support.
The Problem
Patchin Messner Dodd & Brumm has an ideal situation: they don’t need to worry about paid advertising to gain more business since most of their clients are referred via word-of-mouth.
While their team has years of expertise, their website had very little content describing their services. Even if a prospect got to their website, they wouldn’t find a whole lot of information about the company, which could deter them from taking further action.
Their site design was also using a dated layout with some broken and redundant links.
Our Solution
We first designed a new, full-width layout to modernize their site, using their branding. Our designers added large, clear photos, scrolling logos of their past clients, and easier access to contact information.
Next, we fleshed out their content so that any prospective clients could read about their background and each of their services. And though their heavy word-of-mouth referrals didn’t warrant it, adding more content also helps with SEO.
The Results
With a new website, Patchin Messner Dodd & Brumm has a home base where current and prospective clients can learn about who they are and what they do. Their new site is responsive, clean and easy to navigate.
