Print marketing can make a big impact. We’ll create compelling printed marketing materials that will make your brand memorable, inspire customer action, and give your brand credibility.
Our goal isn’t solely to print your logo on stuff (although we do that, too!). We’ll collaborate and create campaigns that will help your company get more leads, increase revenue, and grow.
Brochures (or pamphlets or tracts) have been used throughout history to move information. Today, we use brochures more than ever to generate business activity thanks to lower printing costs. Our printed brochures can introduce your company to new customers and show off your products, events and locations.
We’ll design your brochure to be distinct. Our graphic designers never use a template and our marketing strategists choose the information that will be the most useful and the most persuasive. We’ll also take care of:
We designand print each brochure in-house to lower your costs even more.
We’ll help you decide on paper size, thickness and styles (glossy, matte, etc.). You can also choose from more than just the classic tri-fold:
Whether you want to use your brochures as handouts, in point-of-sale displays or direct mail pieces, we can help you with your strategy.
Business cards aren’t dead. They’re used by people in nearly every industry. In fact, 72% say they judge a company by their business cards. That’s a lot of missed opportunities if your card is of poor quality. Fortunately, our print services can help you!
The branding of your business is important. Conveying attractive colors, typefaces and messaging can bring in not just more customers, but the right customers.
Unlike internet printing companies, we never use a template to create your business card layout. We’ll give your cards a design that’s unique to your profession and industry.
From basic black-and-white business cards to full-color layouts, our design team gives you the credible look that embodies your brand. Even if you have no idea where to start or have just a concept and logo in mind, we’ll work together to craft a card you’ll be proud to hand out.
Our in-house printing team is ready to get your business cards printed and packaged quickly. Since we don’t have to outsource the printing, you can expect lower printing costs and reliable communication throughout the process.
Catalogs and booklets are great for getting a large amount of info or product offers in front of one person. They’re used everywhere for many purposes, including:
Need a catalog created from scratch, including design? We’ll help your message come out clear and your products look as appealing as possible. You can choose from different sizes, thicknesses, colors – all the way down to a glossy or matte paper finish.
If you have your content ready to go, we can take look prior to printing to edit common mistakes in grammar, punctuation and writing style. We can also write the entire marketing piece from scratch.
We bind our booklets immediately after printing. You can choose from common binding styles like saddle stitch, loop stitched and plastic spiral.
Need to get your booklet out to the masses? We handle direct mail marketing in-house, so your product catalogs and manuals go from printing to mailing in the same room.
From new-in-town companies to established giants who want a fresh look, our Corporate Identity Packages can give clean, consistent presentations for your business to impress your audience.
Our customizable printed packages can include:

Meetings are important. Conferences are busy. When you already have a lot on your plate, we’ll take care of the print materials so you can focus on impressing your guests and sealing the deal.
We work with organizations both nationwide and here in Minnesota to promote and carry out successful events. Our team of writers, graphic designers and printers work ahead of time to produce materials and get them to you or your event location so you’re not scrambling at the last minute.
A lot of paper goes into events. We help with it all.
We’re big fans of direct mail marketing, and it’s not just because we offer it as part of our print services. It’s easy to be a fan when 80-90% of direct mail pieces are opened every day. Better yet, the direct mail marketing success rate is excellent with an ROI of around 20%.
We’ll plan out who you should send the mail to, where they receive it and what it should say. We’ll also help you get an address list if you don’t have one already.
Avoid paper cuts and dry tongues: Our team and equipment print, fold, insert and seal so you don’t have to lift a finger.
We’ll take your finished mail pieces directly to the post office for delivery. You can send nearly any size you want, from small, 4-inch by 4-inch offer cards to large, information-packed newsletters and everything in between.
Want a digital spin on direct mail? Try our Mail-to-Web service to target those same customers twice, both at home and online. Or use the USPS Informed Delivery to place a link to your website directly in your customer’s email inbox.
Get your audience’s attention with vivid envelopes for your direct mail marketing and business communications. Our designers and print team can create and print envelopes of all sizes and formats, ranging from basic black and white to impressive, colorful layouts.
We’ll print all grades of envelopes for numerous uses, including:
Have your design all ready to go? Just send us the file so we can print them now and have them to you as soon as possible.
Variable data printing allows everyone on your customer list to receive a personalized envelope. This is great for call-outs on the outside of the envelope based on user data, like “21 Days Left in Your Subscription” and “Happy 15 Year Reunion!”
We can create and print the letterhead with your name, logo, typeface and brand colors that are unique to your business.
Have the design ready to go? Just send us the file and we’ll print them as soon as possible. Include custom envelopes to carry your new letterhead and give your customers a peek at your brand as soon as they open their mailbox.
If your existing newsletter just needs a fresh look, we’ll revamp up your current design with vivid, full-color imagery and content that’ll have your readers asking for more.
Want to take your newsletter online? We’ll develop digital newsletters to be sent out through email to keep your customers informed from their computer or phone.
Paper can be folded in as many ways as you can imagine. Because it can seem overwhelming, so we’ve set up this helpful guide for designing your material for print.
Please know that folding is seldom very precise; most machines work within a tolerance of about 1/32 of an inch per fold. It is important, therefore, that a designer keeps that in mind when developing pieces with elements that end at folds. Allow for tiny variations in folds, just as you would for variations in trimming.
On sheets that need to fold several times, the accuracy of the first fold will affect all subsequent folds. The thickness of the paper will also cause variations in additional folds because a thicker paper will cause the folds to shift more than a thin paper. When submitting a job, it is highly recommended that you include a folding dummy with your submission.
Typical folding options diagrams used in the commercial printing industry:
A Half-Fold has two panels. Both panels are at full size.
A Tri-Fold has three panels. The two outside panels are at full size. The inside panel should be 1/16-inch narrower.
A Parallel Fold or Half-and-Half Fold has four panels. The two outside panels are at full size. The two inside panels should be 1/16-inch narrower.
A Z-Fold, also known as an Accordion Fold, has all panels at full size.
A Right-Angle Fold, also known as a French Fold, has all panels at full size.
A Roll Fold has four panels or more. The two outside panels are at full size. The panels on the inside are 1/16-inch narrower than each panel before it, with the inside panel being the smallest.
A Gate Fold has four panels. The two outside panels are at full size. The two inside panels should be 1/32-inch narrower.
A Closed Gate Fold has four panels. The two outside panels are at full size. The two inside panels should be 1/16-inch narrower.
Personalization popular and easy to implement with modern technology. We use variable data printing to personalize direct mail pieces so that each recipient gets a slightly different offer, image or information.
Variable data printing (personalized mail) can have a huge effect on the actions of your customers. A postcard mailer with the customer name can increase a connection. A coupon with a higher offer can increase the chance of a purchase by a customer who hasn’t been to your store in a while.
Personalized mail can even benefit event invitations. Colleges often use the same mail pieces for alumni events but change each “Class of 19XX” year for the recipient.
We can personalize the following in your direct mail campaigns:
This process works for more than just mailing. If you’re hosting an event with printed handouts, you can specify each name, numeric or graphical code, and more.
Marketing postcards are an inexpensive and effective way to reach your audience. These targeted printed marketing pieces can quickly convey key messages and offerings and have been used effectively for decades.
Our postcards can be printed in any size, and we specialize in:
Need to know something about print marketing? We’ve got 40 years’ worth of answers! Here are a few to get started:
Resolution should be set to at least 300 dpi. Pictures and graphics pulled from the internet are often low resolutions, typically 72 dpi or 96 dpi. Avoid these graphics, as they will appear pixilated and blocky when printed. Also note that you should save all photos in CMYK mode, not RGB mode when possible. RGB images and artwork may not print properly or meet your color expectations. If you are unsure or unable to save your image in CMYK mode, please let us know.
When printing from InDesign, we need all fonts and images used to be included for the highest quality possible. Failure to include these items may cause your file to print incorrectly and at a low resolution.
• Under the file menu, go to “Package.”
• It is not necessary to fill out the “instructions” pop up. Click continue.
• Make sure the boxes at the bottom of the dialog box are checked.
• Click “Save.”
• A new folder will be created containing everything we need for your file.
• Please either save the folder to a disk or zip/stuff the file and send it via email or our ftp site. ILLUSTRATOR: When printing from Illustrator, we will need all fonts and images. If you do not wish to send us the fonts, please create outlines of all text.
• Select everything on the page.
• Under the Type menu, choose “Create Outlines.”
• Including images gives us greater freedom in tweaking the color output of your file if necessary.PDF: We accept high-resolution PDF files. For printing purposes, it is necessary that all of your fonts are embedded.PHOTOSHOP: Although we would prefer to work with a page layout program, we will accept Photoshop files that are set to the actual print size and at a resolution of 300 with all proper bleeds and margins.COREL DRAW: We do not work natively in Corel Draw, but may be able to use your file if it is output as an Illustrator EPS.
• Embed all Images
• Convert all your text/copy to outline fonts
• Export as Illustrator EPSFREEHAND: Freehand is an older program that is no longer supported. We may be able to use your file if you are able to save a high-resolution PDF or Illustrator EPS file.
• Embed all Images
• Convert all your text/copy to paths
• Export as Illustrator EPS or PDFPAGEMAKER: Pagemaker is an older program that is no longer supported. If you send us a Pagemaker file, it will open in InDesign, which may cause items to change or move around. We will also accept a high-resolution pdf.MICROSOFT WORD, PUBLISHER, EXCEL, and POWERPOINT: Word, Publisher, Excel and Powerpoint are not professional printing programs, and tweaking may be necessary to make your files print-ready. In some cases, a PDF is a better alternative to the native file. In order to create a PDF, you will need to have the full version of Adobe Acrobat PDF. If you don’t please download and use our Adobe Job Ready Program. If you do have the full version of Adobe Acrobat PDF please follow the steps below.
• Under File, Print, select Adobe PDF writer.
•Under Properties select Press Quality and Save your PDF.
We prefer packaged InDesign or PDF files. We are able to accept Photoshop and Illustrator files as well, however, please include all images and fonts used. If you are using a program not listed above, please make a high-resolution PDF file to send to us for printing.
Many layout programs have collecting or packaging functions that will automatically collect your document, fonts, all art and a report. When possible, it is recommended to use these functions because without any or all of these elements we will be unable to print your files properly.
• Enclose all screen fonts and printer fonts
• Include all placed images
• Make sure your files are set with proper bleed, trim and safety areas. BLEED: All art trimming off the edge MUST be pulled out 1/8” beyond the trim line TRIM: This is the guideline where the card will be cut SAFETY: All art and text within this safety area will assure that nothing will be trimmed off during the cutting process. A 3/8” guide in from the trim should work fine in most cases. In some cases, we are able to use a 1/4″ margin.
In short, printers and monitors produce colors in different ways. Monitors use the RGB (red, green, blue) color model, which usually supports a wider spectrum of colors. Printers use the CMYK (cyan, magenta, yellow, black) color model, which can reproduce most—but not all—of the colors in the RGB color model. Depending on the equipment used, CMYK generally matches 85–90% of the colors in the RGB model. When a color is selected from the RGB model that is out of the range of the CMYK model, the application chooses what it thinks is the closest color that will match. Programs like Adobe Photoshop will allow you to choose which color will be replaced. Others may not.
Not typically. Because white is the default color of paper, it is simply recognized as the absence of any ink. However, when using colored paper, white ink may be used if any text or graphic requires it.
The Pantone Matching System (PMS) is a color reproduction standard in which colors all across the spectrum are each identified by a unique, independent number. The use of PMS allows us to precisely match colors and maintain color consistency throughout the printing process.
A proof is a way of ensuring that we have set your type accurately and that everything is positioned according to your requirements. Typically, we will produce a proof which will be sent to you online or printed on paper which can be viewed in our shop or delivered to you in person. On multiple-color jobs, we can produce a color proof to show how the different colors will appear.
Yes. In some cases, we can print a few samples of your files for testing. In cases where it is not practical to print a few samples, we can provide samples of the blank stock to be used.
Yes. We offer the storage of most products. In some cases, minimum quantities may apply. We also offer document management. We’ll assign your documents a form number and let you know when you are running low on a particular form. If you know you have a project coming up and need to order more, you can easily reference the form number. Call us today to see if a document management program is right for you.
Variable data printing is a technology for printing documents so that each piece is personalized to the specific recipient. At the most basic level, this means personalizing a name and address. But for real impact, many projects include unique graphics and content that speaks directly to the recipient.
We work with many types of data files, but Microsoft Excel XLS files work best with our systems. To save time and hassle, make sure your data is properly formatted with each piece of data in separate fields. Complex projects may require other files, like image files or additional data files. If you are unsure of what may be required for a particular variable project, give us a call for a free consultation.
Personalization is another term for variable data—technology for printing documents so that each piece is personalized to the specific recipient.
To get an estimate you can click on “request an estimate” on this website, contact us by phone at 877-447-5044, or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org. Estimates are generally returned to you within 24 hours. A more intense project requiring specialty items may take longer.
